Pratap Chaturvedi – Father of Rana Pratap.
Currently living in Delhi due to work commitments, Pratap is the Education Minister of Delhi. He shares a very friendly and easygoing relationship with his son. Their bond is warm, supportive, and relaxed, more like close friends than father and son.
Ranjana Pratap Chaturvedi – Late mother of Rana Pratap.
She passed away two years ago due to brain cancer. Ranjana was known for her wisdom and grace.
Ganga Chaturvedi – Grandmother of Rana Pratap.
A traditional and strict woman, Ganga strongly believes in patriarchal values, often placing men above women. This causes occasional conflicts with her son and grandson, who hold more progressive views. Despite their differences, they share a deep familial bond, and both men love and respect her deeply as the only woman remaining in their immediate family.
Bajwa Family
Chandan Bajwa – Father of Mugdha.
Submissive and quiet, Chandan is heavily influenced by his elder brother and sister-in-law. He shows little affection toward his daughter and usually keeps to himself, avoiding involvement in family matters.
Kusum Bajwa – Mother of Mugdha.
A hardworking and devoted mother, Kusum lives in constant fear of her domineering sister-in-law. She deeply loves her daughter and dreams of a better life for her, far away from their current environment.
Manohar Bajwa – Elder brother of Chandan.
Cunning and manipulative, Manohar is known for his sweet talk and deceitful nature. He is extremely selfish and driven by greed, always plotting to have everything under his control and name.
Kamini Bajwa – Wife of Manohar.
A lazy and domineering woman, Kamini loves giving orders but avoids any real work. She is manipulative and shows little respect or affection toward anyone outside her immediate interests.
Sahil Bajwa – Son of Manohar and Kamini.
A spoiled brat and self-proclaimed playboy. Sahil wastes his time and money chasing women and partying in clubs. He is disrespectful, particularly toward women, and has no sense of responsibility.
Deshmukh Family
Chirag Deshmukh – 39 years old.
A controlling and patriarchal man who believes women should be subservient to men. Chirag is the father of three daughters. His wife died during childbirth, along with their fourth daughter. Obsessed with having a son, he is actively seeking to remarry someone who can give him a male heir.
Lajvanti Deshmukh – Mother of Chirag.
A bitter and cunning woman, Lajvanti begins her day by blaming her granddaughters and their deceased mother for not producing a son. She supports her son's toxic behavior and never intervenes, even when he acts abusively. Her only concern is to have a grandson in the family.
